Great facilities in a modern, clean and central Nelson backpackers hostel
The spacious, modern kitchens in our Nelson backpackers provide everything you need to prepare your favourite food. The dining area opens onto a sunny garden with BBQ courtyard.
In the common areas we have foosball, an extensive DVD collection, a piano and guitar to use and Free WIFI internet access.
Our hostel facilities are suitable for groups, with two well-equipped kitchens allowing for a dedicated kitchen when large groups come to stay.
Disabled guests are catered for with some Private Rooms and all lounges and kitchen facilities on the ground floor.

We are a family owned property, proud to operate as Nelson's only YHA Hostel. We are pleased to advise that YHA/HI Members will always receive their 10% Members Discount on our Standard Nightly Rates when booking directly on our website or by phone or email with our Reception team.

You dont have to be a YHA member to stay with us, or young in age ......just young at heart.

What people say about our backpackers hostel
The dorms are clean and comfortable, there are plenty of amenities including a well stocked kitchen, TV room, lounge and outside seating area with BBQ. Although there are plenty of people staying at the hostel it is nice and quiet which is really welcome after some of the places I have stayed.
The hostel is really central, just 200 yards from the bus station and 200 yards from shops, cinema and restaurants.
